Like the first time
18/03/10 Thursday
4E2's BBQ was held today! Was really excited about this, as it was a LONG time ever since we all met up. Glad that some of us mentioned about a gathering, which gave Erlin more courage to organise this =DD Heh. I bet all the jc students were busy and all, but it was great that most of them took the effort and time to join in this =D Anyway, woke up early in the morning to accompany Dad for his appointment at SGH and then the polyclinic. Was running late, so left him by himself at 3.50pm and proceeded to meet with Hinye. It was raining heavily at AMK then, luckily I brought my umbrella along. Then we went to Zhss tgt, happily wanting to collect our O's cert because we don't want to make a special trip down, waste money since we are using adult fares now. Super pissed off I tell you. The security guard did not let us in just because we were wearing shorts. Somemore she still dare to say next time just wear bermudas or khakis that cover our knees then enter. Like WTF can?! When I heard it I was super pissed off man. I seriously regretted not rebutting her with " You think zhss PE shorts can cover our knees meh?" Woah, like seriously. That day our shorts were not very short, just slightly above our knees only. You think what? We are only graduants who came back to collect certs only leh, you thought we are here to seduce teachers izit? WTH. You tell me slippers are not allowed maybe I still can understand, but shorts too short. =.= Somemore that day raining, you expect me to wear long pants and covered shoes? Attend formal event arh? Crazy. Still keep talking to the Lab tech. Don't think we don't recognise you okay. Doesn't mean we graduate our brains died and can't remember faces alright? @#$%^&* Spoil my mood for the rest of the day. Enough of rambling about crappy ppl. Move on to the BBQ! Huiting, Peiyu, Hinye and I reached ecp around 6+pm. Not many ppl were there though, I thought we were the latest. Erlin was still worried that not many will come due to the rain. Don't worry, no matter what we will all still come ^^ Only 1/2 of the class came, rather disappointing, but then they have their own activities also, can't be blamed. We have the chef of the day, Mr Hong Pee Pee to cook for us. Haha. The food today turned out to be really nice! Having non-spicy otah, honey bacon and all. =D Everyone bonded well today, although it was just playing simple games or talking. Really enjoyed this bbq very much, I didn't realise how much I missed this class of ours until today. All good things come to an end, soon everyone started to go separate ways. It was really sad to say goodbye, because we don't even know when we will meet again. And it seems like a long long time later then we would. Anyway, all I can say is that 4E2'09 is love! I think it is tough to find great classmates and buddies in poly. Hmm, so all the more I should cherish my secondary school friends then =) Shall pester them to go out more often. Haha. 19/03/10 FridayWoke up at 7.52am. Really wanted to switch off my alarm and go back to sleep, but I can't. Since Mum just had her minor surgery and needed more rest, I should fulfil my duties as her child and do the things that I could for her. Started to sweep the floor, when parents woke up, surprised that I can actually wake up by myself to do house chores. LOL. I mean what I say okay. Hang the clothes out to dry and also ironed clothes. First time ironing clothes at home leh, at work only used the steamer to iron clothes. Was rather alright, got the hang of it pretty quickly. Then went to market with Dad, to buy the ingredients for our meals. After that, cooked tgt with Dad. First time we cooked proper meals for the family, as in 3 dishes. Usually he only cook a dish or soup, while I only know how to cook soup. LOL. Was preparing the ingredients when Dad suddenly said "It seems as if we are in the program 三菜一汤 hor?" Can't help but laugh hearing it. Haha. Luckily, we still had some talent and successfully completed our mission. Heh. Tasted better than I thought =) I would say, Dad is really talented in many things he does. I was still commenting about how great the vegetables were, then big bro mentioned about him being 企鹅爸爸. LOL. I guess we were really into some of the channel 8 programmes in the past.
