Adrenaline Rush Had 2.4km run at NYJC stadium today. Was super scared before the run, because the last time I tried running on this track was 3 years ago during NP camp and I got an 18 min no matter how hard I tried. I did not want history to repeat itself, so had a lot of stress. Moreover, many were saying that I was having FAC thrice a week, so my stamina would be good. But thats not the case, as we were climbing the stairs for 2 sessions and joining the cohord run on friday. Perhaps my muscle did get better at 'enduring' I guess. To me, I feel that the track was really far too much for me to handle as the surroundings were an open area and felt so wide... Was experiencing 'nostrils on fire', stitches and cramps in the abdomen in the process. Really wanted to give up, but when I looked at the clear blue sky and the scorching sun, that somehow kept me going on. Overall, was pretty satisfied that I did not stop during the run and managed to get 22nd position. It is not an improvement in terms of position but I guess I was faster than before. Results to be released tomorrow, looking forward to it! After the run still had to walk back to school! =.= Because I did not complete the chapter on Reproduction in Humans for Bio WB. Should have done it beforehand, even though I was not informed too. Was doing it 'under the umbrella' together with Liwen, Ruiying and Yiheng. Had many incidents there. Firstly, Liwen talked about her weird encounter in the girl's toilet, at 3rd floor and was screaming at us to stop talking about it. Secondly, I thought a bee was beside my ear and screamed and jumped off the bench. Liwen thought something has appeared and also screamed. Then realised it was just Yiheng's hp vibrating on the bench. LOL. Now they know how much I hated bees. Lastly, a small lizard was on the pole of the umbrella. I spotted it and shouted. Liwen screamed again. Yiheng was shaking the whole umbrella until god knows where it went. It was the second time I saw a young lizard in class, on the floor and brave Tanyun smashed it! =) However, bloodstains was left on the ground and I had to put my bag on the other side. It was rather an adventurous day today=D |
